The PD-M821 is made for mountain bikers who ride fast and take chances. The alloy pedal body has a fixed clip-in mechanism for simplicity and durability. The pedal body protects the binding mechanism against impacts, aided by its slimness which improves clearance. The chrome-molly spindle is strong and the sealed bearing cartridge axle is easily maintained.
