Schwalbe Marathon Mondial Tyres

Mondial is Schwalbe’s long-haul specialist. We sell the wired Tour sizes to riders planning multi-day Australian tours, not just a Sunday loop.

The carcass and tread are built for mixed surfaces: highway shoulders, gravel connectors, and the odd corrugated access road. It is calmer than a knobbly and tougher than a city slick.

Puncture protection is Marathon-grade, aimed at glass, thorns and mystery wire rather than race weight. That is the point of an expedition tyre.

Reflex walls help on unlit sections between towns. Check ETRTO and load rating against your bike and bags before you leave.
