The Schwalbe Al Grounder Tyre is the Hybrid crossover we spec when a bike needs to commute through town and still cope with a fire trail or gravel shortcut. Bike Society stocks it for Australian touring bikes and e-SUVs that want MTB-like volume without a knobbly trail tyre.
The centre tread stays calm and quiet on sealed roads. Shoulder lugs add bite when you turn onto unsealed paths, so you are not swapping tyres for a weekend detour.
Double Defense sidewalls and RaceGuard belting take the sting out of glass and stone chip — the everyday hazards on shared paths and country verges. ADDIX Green uses a high share of recycled and renewable inputs, including rice-husk silica.
Reflective sidewall strips keep you visible after dark. ECE-R75 approval covers faster S-pedelec use where that rating is required.
