Every detail is considered to deliver stability and responsiveness. A low centre of mass keeps the ride controlled and planted through flow trails and jump lines. Paired with 140mm front and 135mm rear travel, it provides the range to handle technical terrain and rougher features with ease. The lightweight HMF carbon frame is tuned for cross-country efficiency on the climbs and lively, spirited performance on the descents—a balance of speed and capability that makes every ride rewarding.
Traction, control, and comfort are delivered by RockShox’s Pike Select fork and Deluxe Traction shock, both with a custom tune that keeps your wheels planted and your options open for whatever the trail presents. From lunch laps and focused sessions to full weekend adventures, the suspension is engineered to elevate the ride at every turn.
The component spec rounds out a capable, considered, and performance-driven package. SRAM’s S1000 Eagle AXS Transmission drivetrain delivers smooth, reliable riding across every condition, while integrated frame storage and a dedicated frame mount make it straightforward to load up for bikepacking and keeping essentials close on longer rides.
Performance also extends to practicality. Improved serviceability and tunability are built into the design, making it easy to keep the bike dialed and riding exactly how you like it—so you spend less time in the workshop and more time focused on the trail ahead.
Lightweight Design
Lightweight performance is part of the Spark DNA, but on the all-new Spark DC it’s about more than grams. The frame layout was redesigned from the ground up to achieve purposeful weight distribution and true ride balance. By positioning the shock and kinematics low and central, the bike feels composed at speed, precise in corners, and efficient under power. Light where it matters. Stable where it counts.
Suspension Layout
The refined flex-pivot system delivers 138 mm of highly efficient rear travel with reduced complexity and uncompromising performance. By eliminating unnecessary hardware and optimising pivot placement, the system reduces weight while increasing torsional stiffness and long-term durability. A custom-tuned shock with bearing eyelets further reduces friction, significantly improving small-bump sensitivity and initial stroke response. The result is a rear end that reacts with precision, maintains grip over technical terrain, and delivers consistent support throughout the travel.
Shock Compatibility
Scott get it, riders love their own setups. So they designed the frame with plenty of space and compatibility for a wide range of aftermarket shocks. Run what you like. Swap what you want. The Spark DC accommodates aftermarket shock options from leading suspension brands such as, RockShox SidLux XL FA, RockShox SidLux XL, Fox Float, Öhlins TTX22M.2, RockShox Super Deluxe.
Frame Access
Clean looks need to come with clean solutions. That’s why Scott reinvented the way of accessing the internal compartment with a new magnetic down tube cover, faster and simpler than ever. Clipped in place, it prevents excessive dirt and dust to accumulate and get into your frame. This not only keeps the shock performing at its best for longer, but also speeds up cleaning your bike after a muddy day out.
Save-The-Day-Kit & Tool
No modern mountain bike should be without a smart in-frame storage solution. At SCOTT Spots they call this “Save The Day Kit”, which features a neat in-frame bag including a super-light tube, a pump, and a set of tyre leavers. On top, a additionally included tool allows all adjustments required for daily use on the bike: a 6mm hex, a T25 Torx for the rear axle and additional frame hardware, and depending on the shock spec, a 3mm or 2.5mm hex for shock adjustment.
Cable Routing
Run your cables the way you want to. The Spark DC gives you multiple routing options plus smart touches to keep everything clean, quiet, and out of the way, without adding unnecessary complexity. You can choose between the clean looking sleek integrated solution through the headset, or route your cables through the head tube badge while running a “regular” bar/stem combination.
Sag & Travel
Setting up your suspension just got foolproof. The integrated SAG Indicator helps you dial things in fast and keep track of your travel as you ride.
Frame Fender
We all sometimes like to get dirty, but mostly we like to stay clean. Pop on the frame fenders and keep the crud away. Easy, practical, and genuinely handy when the weather turns bad.
Steering Stopper
Not needed, till you need it. In the event of a crash, the Steering Stopper protects your frame and controls the overrotation of your handlebar. It’s also removable if you prefer full freedom.
