Gambler RC’s new frame is spec’d with Scott’s finest HMX carbon for second-to-none ride quality that’s also durable to hold up to full-tilt efforts through the harshest features on track. Updated from the previous Gambler is the fully integrated rear shock, now housed inside the frame. This lowers the center of gravity for improved tracking, stability, and ride quality in high- and low-speed sections and technical descents. It combines the stiffness needed for the bottom bracket area and the platform of the driving linkages all in one, as well as shielding the shock as a splash/mudguard.
Gambler RC is more adjustable than ever, allowing independent changes to your setup to meet the demands of the tracks and find that sweet spot setting. Adjust reach, chainstay length, bottom bracket height, and leverage rate to make full use of Gambler’s downhill capacity. It also utilises a 6-bar suspension linkage to bring the most optimised usable adjustable range to your suspension settings. Gambler is designed to maximise its potential in a MX’d wheel setup, although you can fit 29” as well. Scott dare to say this is the most advanced DH race bike they’ve ever produced and builds on the legacy of the World Cup win tally of its predecessors.
Gambler RC comes equipped with the definitive DH fork from FOX, the 40 Factory Float fork featuring the GRIP X2 damper with huge adjustability to keep you glued to the track just as you like it. Paired with their equally adjustable FOX DH X2 Factory coil shock, you’ll have all the tools to dial in the perfect setting for a ride to remember. SRAM’s X01 DH/Race Face Atlas 7-speed drivetrain and ultra-powerful SRAM Maven brakes provide all the go-and-slow you need for split-second efforts and navigating pro-lines on course.
FRAME CONSTRUCTION
SCOTT’s Integrated Suspension Technology packages the shock and linkages low and central for a ride that stays composed at high speed and rips through corners like it’s on rails. The Gambler’s secret sauce blends stiffness and compliance, giving you the confidence to charge harder and ride faster. By optimising flex behaviors for better wheel tracking and to mute unwanted chatter, while reinforcing the BB area to keep the suspension isolated and power transfer maxed for those all-out sprints. The result? A wicked fast bike that end-consumers and athletes alike can go full send, every run.
6-BAR SUSPENSION
The 6-bar layout packs 210mm of travel with a higher level of optimisation, allowing us to fine-tune suspension characteristics independently for fewer compromises and a perfectly balanced ride. It hits the sweet spot between full-on plow mode and efficient energy return while pumping. By dialing in anti-squat and anti-rise to a predictable level, Scott keep the ideal leverage rates and maximise the usable adjustable range to match different rider styles and suspension setups.
5-WAY ADJUSTABILITY
A modern race bike needs to adapt—your style, the track, the conditions. That’s what separates fast from faster. The Gambler gives you the advantage to fine-tune your setup without unwanted side effects. With five independent adjustments—reach, chainstay length, BB height, leverage rate, and wheel size—you can dial in the perfect synergy between you and your bike to ensure your confidence and speed when you need it.
FRAME COVERS
More than just easy access to shock adjustments and hardware, the frame covers keep your shock shielded from dust, mud, and full-on trail chunder. The downtube cover is built to take the hits so your frame doesn’t have to. Plus, it stashes a Syncros Multitool—dial your suspension or tighten bolts on the fly.
SHOCK ACCESSIBILITY
The all-new Gambler is built to run any shock you throw at it—coil or air, no problem. With easy access to adjustments and hardware through front and rear frame covers, making setup changes and swapping shocks a piece of cake.
CABLE ROUTING
Say goodbye to cable chaos—Scott’s new tube-in-tube routing makes swaps quick and hassle-free. No more rattling, no more headaches—just clean lines and a silent ride. Plus, multiple ports let you switch between standard and moto brake setups with ease. Sleek, dialed, and ready for the World Cup pits.
